Welcome to Robbies Roadshow Disco Ltd. Devon, Cornwall and Somerset's long established PREMIUM mobile Disco and Karaoke service.
Our aim, is to provide a custom built bespoke disco or disco/karaoke service to clients covering the whole of the South West. Our philosophy is to put our lifetime of experience, passion and enthusiasm into our business, providing you with the ultimate perfect party atmosphere.
We have access to a vast array of lighting effects, from the very modern LED moving heads, computerised intelligent scanners, halogen lamped lighting effects and of course back to the 'retro' era of lightboxes, par cans, pinspots, mirror balls and ultra violet (UV).

Our sound system ranges from a small set of 15" full range powered speakers, right through to our own designed passive P.A.
For even bigger venues and budgets, we can hire in a full sound system, complete with an engineer/technician, catering for 1000's of people.

We gather as much information as we can from you, building the right package for your event and incorporate it into your chosen venue. With the ability to add the right lighting on the day, adapting it to create the right effect, is our forte. Uplighting the function room, and/or our lighting podiums can help create the ultimate party atmosphere.

We take time to listen to you, assess your requirements and work out the right package.

Please note: Our 'Rustic' and 'Chic' themed wedding shows are dressed by a very good wedding planner and event coordinator. They are based in Barnstaple, providing the wooden screens, decorations, flowers, favour boxes, love letters, candy carts, balloons and silk bows etc. If you require either of these two themed looks please mention this as soon as possible, so that we can put you in contact for availability and their associated costs.

We constantly invest in new and replacement equipment, improving our look, taking photographs as and when we set up new shows and variants of existing discos. Some of our photos are very old, showing the wires that connect everything together. We even have our own cable cops in Cornwall, who monitors DJ's and their equipment, ensuring that we are neat and tidy, We weren't neat and tdy five years ago. We got to thank Andy & Ben for that...........

Our History
How We Work
We started DJing for the Halfway House St Jidgy nr Wadebridge In 1989. We just brought along our 7" Vinyl and album collections using the old Citronic Hawaii powered console with a built in amp and twin turntables. We provided our services at many weddings and birthday parties using the venues very old kit.
We decided that due to our success at being able to throw music at any event, it was about time to buy our own kit.

So we purchased a TK Discosound all in one deck, complete with a 500w integrated amplifier and a three channel light controller! Bought a trailer and organized a farmer to weld up a bit of truss'!!

Robbies Roadshow was born. We travelled the length and breadth of Devon & Cornwall working for the general public and to very large Entertainment Agencies, we are still to this day on their books.

Constantly investing in new and replacement equipment, we have upgraded and improved our shows to nightclub standard.

With our experience over the last THIRTY years, we have gained a formidable reputation for a reliable service, providing customers with high quality entertainment.
We are able to supply any type of music, for any type of event. We can provide THEMED discos, be it Rock 'n' Roll, 60's, 70's 80's, 90's Current chart, and our passion of Disco and Rock.
Our good judge of character and excellent knowledge of music is able to pull of the perfect party atmosphere.
We 'design' our disco around the client, asking all the right questions to ensure that the set up you have hired is suitable for the number of guests attending and the overall size of the function room/venue.
Our look can be modern and up-to-date, completely retro, or a combination of both. With access to our vast vault of equipment, an awesome lightshow can be had!
Our sound system, can be small and compact, using the industry standard MACKIE THUMPS right through to our thundering in house 4K rig at our disposal. For those really big rigs, we can hire in a full soundsystem including a technician. Therefore the world is your oyster!!
